Born initially as an idea during a course within our Master’s degree at the London School of Economics, Educase started out as a group project with people from different backgrounds, but with a united passion – access to quality education for all.
Due to our South Asian identities, we were aware of the challenges within Education in our home countries and felt motivated to give back to the under-served communities within them.
Using the principles of design thinking, we researched the issue of under-developed classrooms and felt inspired to find a solution to tackle this overlooked yet important issue.
Fast forward to today: after conducting numerous studies, consulting key individuals, and exploring a variety of designs and materials, Educase is now serving under-resourced communities all around Nepal.
We are proud of our work till date, and believe that even simple steps have a significant positive social impact, by using innovation and empathy to empower communities in need.
Based in Nepal and educated in India and the UK, Vedika applies her entrepreneurial background and knowledge in operations to drive Educase’s work on the ground in Nepal. She is an active member of multiple youth groups, is passionate about social impact, food and innovation.

Pratima is our Social Media intern and one of the newest additions to the Educase family. She is a graduate of Kathmandu Model College and has previous experiences working as a content creator for her friends’ and family’s businesses. On the side, she loves drawing and watching anime.
We believe that the greatest of ideas come through collaboration. Throughout the Educase journey we’ve collaborated and partnered with these individuals and organisations, who have contributed to this cause in one way or another.
